Sep 29 (Tue) – Oct 4 (Sun) @ Ginza Daikokuya Gallery
Following my participation in 2024, I am deeply honored to exhibit my work again this year. I joined this exhibition because I resonate strongly with their philosophy and dedication. I hold profound respect and admiration for the refined skill, high standard of craftsmanship, and passion for traditional framing that each member brings. I hope to visit the venue in person this year. This is truly a must-see exhibition.
Organizer: Edo Hyogu Research Group / Hyosuikai An association of volunteer hyogushi (traditional mounting and framing artisans) based in the Greater Tokyo Area. Committed to using traditional materials and techniques—such as handmade washi paper and natural wheat starch paste (shofu-nori) made solely from starch and water—the group actively holds regular training sessions and exchanges knowledge to preserve and pass on these historic crafts to future generations.
