On July 19, 2025, at Art Ai Kisa in Miyoshi City.
At the opening ceremony of my solo exhibition, we had the honor of welcoming Mr. Toyohiko Sugiura, a Kanze-ryu Shite-kata Noh actor, all the way from Kyoto. Inside the gallery, he performed an Oshimai (short Noh dance) from the play "Hyakuman," which inspired my dedicated artwork "Ran."
Featuring a spectacular lineup with Mr. Toyohiko Sugiura as the Shite (lead actor) and Mr. Takeo Fujii (also a Kanze-ryu Shite-kata Noh actor) in the Jiutai (chorus), the phantasmal world they created made it the most magnificent opening in the history of my exhibitions.
