Hase~Oboro~

An "eclipse" is created by using the inversion of colors imprinted on the retina to dye the image black.
The hazy, ink-colored state that appears before and after the "eclipse," accompanied by afterimages, is called "oboro."
This series expresses a state of uncertainty in both outlines and colors, a kind of liminal space between what is visible and what is invisible. I believe that how an artist handles these outlines in painting is one of the key aspects of their identity.
